What is your e-waste recovery process?

In the precious metal recovery process, there are two distinct processes that are required: 1) Leaching and 2) Metal RecoveryLeaching: Our patented leaching process uses a nontoxic reagent that is no more harmful than pool chemicals and does not use toxic acids.Recovery: We have a patented polymer that extracts the metals from the leach solution. This polymer has recently won the Australian Prime Ministers Award for scientific innovation and uses elemental sulphur and vegetable oil as its base.

What sectors do you serve?

We assist governments, e-waste recycling, metal traders and regulatory bodies by providing a non-toxic alternative to cyanide and acid in e-waste recovery.

What acids are in your solution?

We have an end-to-end process that does NOT need to use toxic acids.

Do you have a factory?

We will be building processing factories using our unique solution to recover precious metals from e-waste PCBs. The first factory will be built in Adelaide with a second factory likely to be built on the East Coast of Australia.

Paul Kelly

Paul has a broad range of experience with greater than 30 years in the international minerals and mining, sport, and finance industries with extensive knowledge in Operational, Business Development, Strategic and Executive roles.

He has been Director/Chair of public listed companies in the mining industry whilst also undertaking directorships in charity and peak sporting entities.

He has worked with a diverse range of clientele including state and national governments, multi-national companies and high-end brands in the mining, banking, sporting and media industries. Paul is based in Singapore and is focused on the global group sales, marketing, and business development of CET.

Kevin Fell

Based in Singapore, Kevin Fell has over 20 years of leadership experience across a variety of technology-related organisations.

He has operated in C-level roles within ASX-listed companies, such as the former ASX-listed mining, oil, and gas solutions provider ISS Group. He has also been involved in several private investment and corporate advisory firms, as well as in key technology consulting roles for PwC in Asia-Pacific.

His work is centered on full business and product life cycle development: from conceptualisation and commercialisation, through to executive sales and global operational management for both start-up & corporate enterprises.

Jeff McCulloch

Jeff has a broad range of business experience spanning 35 years in predominantly blue chip enterprises. With qualifications including B.Bus and CPA, Jeff has held senior executive positions for the past 30 years.

His commercial experience ranges across industries including oil & gas technologies, insurance, manufacturing, building & construction and research & development.

Jeff was employed by CSIRO for 14-years, working across research domains that included renewable energy, mining and oil & gas. He was part of the team that designed, built and operated the Menzies demonstration plant and subsequently co-founded Clean Mining and Clean Earth Technologies.

Professor Justin Chalker

Justin is a PhD and Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford where he developed protein modifying reagents now sold by Merck. He currently heads up the Chalker Lab at Flinders University and is the inventor of the multi-functional Polymer now owned by Clean Earth Technologies. Justin has recently been recognized for these achievements with the Prime Minister’s Prize for New Innovators—one of the top science prizes in Australia.

Justin continues to work very closely with Clean Earth Technologies and is actively involved in developing a joint R&D program to further develop the Polymer solution.
